About Me

Hey guys! My name is Rachel, and I’m a physical therapist, yoga teacher, and marathon runner originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I found my love of physical therapy after suffering from an injury during my rowing career in high school. After being told by multiple healthcare professionals that I would need to quit rowing for good or to get surgery, I decided to try physical therapy instead.

I went on to complete 4 years at Saint Joseph’s University and worked closely with the athletic program and the sports team physical therapists. I also traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark to be apart of the Medical Practice Program through the Danish Institute of Study Abroad. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Services with minors in Healthcare Ethics and Psychology, I went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from High Point University in North Carolina.

At High Point, I developed a love for research. Here, I both lead and assisted research studies and papers alongside her professors. I even presented research at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting in 2020 and received my first publication in the Sports Health Journal in 2021!

Fast forward to 2024, I ran my second marathon - the New York City Marathon - and it changed my life. From that day forward, running has become a huge part of her life. I loves working with runners and helping them reach their goals!

Just as my physical therapist did for me, I wants to hear your story and be an advocate for your health and wellness. Your goals are my goals, and I want to be there for you every step of the way in order to accomplish them.

When I’m not at the gym or treating patients, you can find me searching for plane tickets or taking photos for my gallery wall. Photography has always been something I am passionate about, and bringing my film camera with my on my daily adventures.

Thank you so much for being here.
